Magpie Mandala - Print (Retail 11x14)

For this one, it was yet another dive-off-the--deep-end with Photoshop and some of the aspects from my recent piece, The Magpies. I really liked the Aztec style sun that I drew in the top corner of The Magpies, and wanted to expand it further... so a few layer duplications and mirror-flippages later, and kaboom... Aztec-sun-explosion! I also dig feathers, and thought that the magpies feather work could use some more love. This piece was created for a poster design I came up with for the 14th Annual All Good Music Festival and Conscious Alliance.
